What do you do when your dog chokes and can't breath? Heimlich Maneuver?

Answers:
If your dog was chocking when you wrote this, it is most likely dead by now. so I am hoping you are asking this question for future reference

go to a nearest dog hosptital
or
do the same thing wen a baby chokes
rub underneath its throat, if that doesnt work, lift it up slightly with its head down and then rub underneath the throat.
I actually have a chart on my fridge that shows how to do this properly on a dog, as well as CPR. I'm sure a dog supply store may carry something like this. Lots of folks think I'm crazy because I care that much about my dogs to keep something like this out. It's as important to me as having a poison hotline number.
ring the vet
lay him/her on their back
open mouth
pull tounge out so he/she doesn't choke
find object and rub throat
if URGENT do mouth to snout
