Whatever one fits your lifestyle. Some need more exercise or some are better with kids than others, etc. I would try to get a dog from the shelter though if possible.

Depends on your situation - labradors make fantastic faithful friends but need lots of exercise or adopt a retired racing greyhound, they are the fastest couch potato!

a cute little yorkshire terrier!.that what i have..the good points are the hair does not fall out all over.you can pick em up and let them sit on your knee.dont need lots of space.they are happy with a 10 minute walk and believe me are very intelligent!.hope this helps

Get a lurcher..i have got one and had them most of my life..they are the most friendliest dogs you can get (in my opinion anyway) plus they are great with kids.
