What diseases can a dog get if you don't give them their shots when you're suppose to?

My pitbull just had puppies 3 months ago and i still haven't gave them their shots and i dont know if they'll get sick or may get a disease.
Answers:
the most deadly disease to young pups is the parvo virus. an old dog can give it to a young dog, but a young dog can't give it to an old dog. If a dog has had parvo, and died, it will remain in the area for quite some time. Its deadly 90% of the time with adult dogs, and almost always with pups. be careful. You need to at least vaccinate for parvo and rabies if nothing else. these shots are not that expensive.
the need at least there 1st shots and to be dewormed and RABIES!
heart worms.
I am not the expert but my wife is a Vet. They can get all sorts of stuff and we highly recommend getting their shots. Parvo is a very bad disease. If you ask around your area (like a Petsmart) you will be able to find a heavily discounted place that gives shots to pups.
Look here for detailed discriptions of the diseases, and more information on vaccination

Parvo
Distemper
These two will kill puppies. They can be tracked into your house and yard like dirt on your clothes and shoes.
Hepatitis
Corona virus
Parainfluenza
All these are in one shot. Called the DHPPC shot. Some vets also give Leptospirosis, but that vaccine has the highest rate of allergy, and most city dogs don't need it as much as dogs that live in the country around cows and wild deer.

Rabies-Is a seperate shot, they don't get this one until next month, but it is important for dogs to get.
All of them!

Duh!.the vaccinations PREVENT disease.

Another RESPONSIBLE BREEDER behind this question.
Well where should i start! Between Rabies, and parvo! Which by the way the virus for Rabies is coming back you should always have the shots up to date for that. and puppy's very easily get parvo just from being around other dogs that are sick! puppy's can be killed by this disease with in 24 hours of it being in their system. and to treat a dog with parvo can take weeks and very very costly medical bill's from your vet. I have know-in people spending up to $7,000.00. and then theirs kennel cough which sucks too. honestly your best bet is to prevent any of this! and get your dogs vaccinated!
rabies and an assorment of different types of deadly worms
Parvo and heart worm disease come first to my mind. A responsible pet owner always makes sure the animal's medical care is the same as if s/he were a person. If you can't do that for the animal, then s/he needs another owner. These are innocent animals that need you to care for them.
Oh yes if your animal isn't vaccinated for distemper and rabies and they bit some one you could have big law suite on your hands pulse they could put the animal to sleep and then test them for eight er one. My advise to you would have them get there shots. And puppy's have to have puppy shots to protect them from any kind of stuff out there.
They could get anything. Like there's Parvo virus and Distemper and a lot of other things a un-vaccinated dog can get. It's your best bet to just get your dogs vaccinated to keep them healthy and live longer. Especially if you do socialize your dogs with other animals and people.
So I would get your dogs vaccinated every time they need it, whether it be every year or every month, I would do it.
rabies, distemper, parvo, kennel cough right off the bat. there are other disease that canines can receive with out their vaccines.and their immunities will be low and be very susceptible to even the common cold and flu which They get anyway even with their shots, just not as fast. Parvo is not only a very fast killer but is at epidemic stages, A lot has to do with Farrell dogs running loose and in packs killing livestock and wild game. What makes a Farrell dogs soooo dangerous is the fact that they are not afraid of humans and will go into your yard and kill your favorite pet.
yup, they can. i have had dogs, 1 had parvo and 1 has had kennel cough. besides those sicknesses being very hard to see my dogs go through, but they were expensive
Well the worst one is parvo which can kill them in three days.
Another one is worms (roundworms, hook woorms, whip worms) which can cause the pups to become very ill and die.

Why would you allow your dog to breed if you had no intention of getting the puppies the health care they need?

You really should spay the mom right away. It will prevent these sorts of problems.
Friendly Hello, There are a number of diseases a puppy and or a adult dog can get from not being properly vaccinated. DHLPP, Corona, Lyme Rabies etc. You should always do your vaccination schedule in a proper sequence. Example 6, 8, 12 and 16 weeks. Some people start with Plain Parvo at 4 weeks on certain breeds such as Rotts and Dobs which can for some reason get this virus easier than other breeds. If you wait to long between shots you are not building up the immunity to the disease. Just like children. Shots need to be given in a timely fashion to safeguard the health and well being of your pet. Blessings, Kelly
