Slowly add a mix to his food, part soft and part dry. Make sure he drinks a lot of water. Please stop feeding him table food. Walk him a lot and that will help with his digestion. Feed him at regular times, and then take him out for a walk. For now, give him only soft food until his stool becomes softer and formed without being dry. Constipation hurts dogs a lot and makes them miserable. Your vet may have a product that can be a stool softener like humans take. Good luck.
in the first place, stop giving him table food. IT IS NOT GOOD FOR HIM. if that doesn't work then ask ur vet not us because he knows what to give the dog exactly.
I don't know.what DO you feed rats?
Definitely stop feeding the table scraps. Its best if you can get him to eat only the dry dog food (spend the money on the premium dog food it makes a WORLD of difference). Do not switch the food up without easing him into it though. Add new things or new foods slowly. Also the best thing for better stool is to add a spoonful of pumpkin (canned) to his food. Its great to regulate dogs.
Stop with the table food but I found that Sardine Oil mixed with the dog food is great for the dogs coats( make them shine) and good for digesting.
you can give a dog scrapes but not too much.and if he's havin a hard time poopin, then cut down the scrapes.give him one egg(not cooked).it will help him poop and will make his/her coat shinny.mix it in with his/her food but only one egg a day until he/she can poop ok again.
