What Happens To These New Mixed Breed Puppies That Are Intentionally Breed To?

Hello all,
Another curiosity question. I saw a program on mixed breed dogs and how people are breeding them intentionally, not as a accident. Program said to get the best out of both breeds into one dog.
What happens to the pups that do not have the best of both dogs? Do the breeders put these pups down themselves or take them to a pound to make others do it for them or?
The wolf cross pup who was dumped at our house still is in it's forever home I found for it. Still doing very well! woo hoo!

Contrary to popular belief mixes aren't any healthier then purebreds no matter if they are first generation . I've been in the vet field over 30 years and I'll tell you mixes(including delibrately bred ones) get cancer, hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, heart disease, thyroid issues, kidney issues every bit as often as any purebred.
A lot of the "bad" reputation that purebreds have is because of all the ill bred, byb bred purebreds there are out there that are produced by people who just don't are about anything other then producing puppies %26 $$$$.

While there is nothing "wrong" with mixes they still shouldn't be delibrately bred and only @ 10% of the purebreds that are bred should be as well.

As for what happens to pups that are produced..just take a good look in the shelters and rescues across the country..that will tell you exactly what happens to them. They shelters/rescues are overflowing at the seams.
A first generation cross-breed will almost always be fitter and healthier than a pure-bred. This is because of the mixing of two genetic strains and is well known to plant and animal breeders. This fact is extensively used in farming and horticulture - thus the F1 hybrid seeds that cost more in the gardening centre. All of this advantage is lost if the hybrids are bred together, so these pets should never be used for breeding purposes.
"Put them DOWN?"?
HEL* NO!

They SELL them as just as"GOOD" as the REST of the *CRAP*!!

Not that they'd NOTICE the difference..not that the DUPES that PAY for MUTT/MONGRELS could tell..
They don't know what the "BEST" is!

%26 being MUTT/MONGRELS-there *IS NO BEST**!
Just CROOKS making CRAP to peddle to the IGNORANT/GULLIBLE!

Your first answer is OBVIOUSLY another in that VAST LEAGUE of MORONS*! Which is* WHY* CROOKS can so easily SCAM them

MUTTS/MONGRELS are *NOT*"healthier" or "fitter" or ANYTHING more than MUTTS! NOT"hybrids"-MUTTS!!
They sell them to suckers. They realize its crap and dump them on the street or in the shelters. We as rescue volunteers scramble to save them. Call and email everyone we can to get the network going for someone to foster and help get it to the vet for us. You should see tha nasty Lhasa I have now.

Unless you have a CHAMPIONSHIP! pet do not breed. Do not pay a dime for a dog unless it has ribbons to show you from reputable shows!!. Otherwise you are getting the same mutts you can get at any shelter/rescue for an adoption fee with vetting done. No difference at all they all come from backyard ignorant breeding more dogs so that more dogs can die!!

I truly can not beg everyone enough to spay/neuter. There are resources to help financially. Nothing is more painful that not being able to save a dog from dying. Its not their fault they have been overbred for someone to make money. Even if you think you have homes for your puppies you are letting the puppies in the shelters die. Help them find homes instead of making more.
Culling dogs was a practice by breeders, it still exsists in some breeding families. Unwanted traits, deformaties and such. Like white boxer pups, they were culled at birth (killed). It would be hard to know what malformities a mixed breed would fall to without keepin it long enough to see the outcome. The designer dog breeders are really no different than others, the breed, they sell, they breed some more. They can't even educate the potential buyer on the breed because they probably have not bred the mix for long. It is an unfortunate fad. I do like that there is a possibilites of a mixed gene pool, but if thats the case check you local pound for a rescue and support the municipality, not designer dog breeders who are doing what rin tin tin and lassie have been doing for decades!
They get adopted by families that will love them and care for them just as much as any pure bred dog. Some people are not materialistic or so worried about championship bloodlines and dont need to see papers and ribbons to know that a dog will be a good addition to their family. Are people "pure breeds"? Our differences are what makes us who we are. No two people look the same are we all "mutts"? Don't get me wrong, pure bred dogs are just as wonderful it all depends on what you like. To each his own. If people want to spend alot of money on what some call a mutt and others call a lifelong friend and family member, at-least the dog is with someone who will love him and his "mutt" status . My dog is a mixed breed and my moms is a pure bred and guess what. we love the heck out of both of them!!
