Sounds like dry skin oatmeal shampoo works really well and there also spray on conditioners sold in the pet stores. Try not to over bathe her Labs have a natural oil and too much washing can diminish that and cause more dry skin. Their food is also highly important my Lab had tons of coat issues and has always been on the top of the line dog foods. I switched to Royal Canin LAbrador Retriever 30 which is especially designed for Labs. They have all the nutrients for their coats. Since being on the food his coat has improved a 100%
It is dry skin. take her to the vet.
It looks like she has very dry skin. Take her to a good pet shop and have them look at it. There's shampo you can try and they will suggest the right thing. Go to a big one, like Pet smart or where they allow dogs into the store.
Dry skin as noted above is probably the reason. You may also check for fleas too. Fleas leave flaky stuff on dogs too, but it is usually not white.
Could be dry skin or allergic reaction. A good top quality dog food should help if its dry skin. Also don't bath her, dogs really only need a bath once or twice a year. Give her some good brushings, it will help to stimulate the skin to produce oils.
If it's an allergy changing her food may help. I would only take her to the vet if she is showing signs of distress. Biting, scratching herself or other signals that she is uncomfortable.
It could be dry skin. Is the weather changing where you live? I know that my skin tends to get dry when the seasons change. It's also possible that she has sensitive skin. Take her to the vet and see if there is a shampoo/conditioner that they recommend.
